Description
LACTOROY contains Lactulose, an osmotic laxative used mainly to treat constipation and certain liver-related conditions. It works by drawing water into the bowel, softening stools, and making bowel movements easier to pass.Uses

- Helps increase bowel movement frequency
- Used in hepatic encephalopathy (a liver-related condition) to reduce ammonia levels in the blood.
How It WorksLactulose is a synthetic sugar that is not absorbed by the body. In the colon, it pulls water into the intestines, softening stool and promoting regular bowel movements.
Directions
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Drink plenty of fluids while using it.
- It may take 24–48 hours to show its full effect for constipation.
