Omeprazole 20 mg Capsule is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is commonly prescribed to treat acid-related gastrointestinal conditions and helps relieve symptoms while promoting healing of the stomach and esophagus.
Uses:

• Relief from acidity and heartburn
• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers
• Treatment of erosive esophagitis
• Part of combination therapy to eradicate Helicobacter pylori infection
• Management of excessive stomach acid production, such as in Zollinger–Ellison syndrome
  How to Take:

• Take one capsule as directed by your doctor, preferably 30–60 minutes before breakfast.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
  Common Side Effects:

• Headache
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Flatulence (gas)
