RITHRAL (Azithromycin 500 mg) Tablet a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It is effective only against bacterial infections and does not treat viral illnesses such as the common cold or flu.
Indications (Uses):

• Upper respiratory tract infections (throat, tonsils, sinusitis)
• Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)
• Ear infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Certain sexually transmitted infections (such as chlamydia), when prescribed by a doctor
  Dosage:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Usually taken once daily, with or without food.
• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.
  Common Side Effects:

• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Stomach pain
• Vomiting
• Headache
