Cefoperazone 1000 mg + Sulbactam 500 mg Injection CEFOTAM-1.5 gm is a broad-spectrum antibiotic injection combining Cefoperazone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, with Sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination is designed to combat susceptible bacteria, including many beta-lactamase-producing strains that are resistant to conventional antibiotics.

• Cefoperazone inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.
• Sulbactam inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by bacteria, protecting cefoperazone from degradation and enhancing antibacterial activity.
